Why a Fairtrade Town?
By being a Fairtrade Town, Burgess Hill is showing its commitment to producers and developers in developing countries. The aims of the Fairtrade Town group is to raise the profile of the Fairtrade mark in the town by encouraging more retail outlets, cafes, business organisations, and consumers to stock and buy Fairtrade goods. By doing this the town is helping to change the livees of farmers in developing countries.
There is an amazing range of Fairtrade products on the market and most of them are available in Burgess Hill. Check out our directory to see what you can buy and where.
